About Me & Embracing the Sacred...
I am a newlywed trying to figure out my new life with my husband, step-daughter, and dog. We have a beautiful little life.
The most important gift I've received in my life is the gift of faith from my parents. I've never lost hope during dark times or as I've "carried" my crosses. I attribute this to Jesus in my life. Finding my way back to the Catholic Church in college led me eventually to a love of the Church and working within for almost 12 years.
I'm honest, authentic, silly, loyal, and passionate. When I die I want to be known for loving well. I believe it is our greatest and hardest call by God. It is my mission while I am here - one I succeed and stumble at often. I am a goal-setter and always striving to be the better version that God intends me to be. You will catch me running around town confidently without make-up, leaving the gym later at night, or possibly working in dress clothes and tennis shoes.
It's in the small moments of the day that we usually miss God embracing us somehow, trying to show or tell us something. These moments are sacred whether they are meant to be joyful and happy or challenging and teaching. Join me as I embrace these sacred moments.
A side note...this will never be a blog about cute things. My goal is to share a thought that might challenge you to become a better person for God, your family, and your neighbors. I don't have time for cute. Sorry.
